Back in the Saddle

I have now been back in Jasper for a full week! Having worked here a summer already, I knew what to expect for the job and got straight back into the full swing of things. The first couple days had my muscles aching (especially because I hardly rode the past few months, and then rode for 5 hours my first day), but it does feel really great to be back here. I’ve already encountered elk, mule deer, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and even my first bear on the trails! And, of course, it was a joy to be reunited with my trusty guide horse, Bert!

Below are a few pictures from my first few days back.
