Bear in the Yard

We see a lot of wildlife on the trails here. And occasionally, the wildlife comes to us!

A couple days ago we had a black bear outside of the yard, just a few metres away from where we tie the horses. A couple of the horses were slightly concerned about the big black monster climbing the nearest tree.

I was lucky enough to grab a few shots with the good camera, and shortly after, the black bear decided there was too much going on in the yard (noise, movement, scariness) and he moved on.

He went directly down our horse trail and back into the aspen forest, I’m sure in search of a quiet place to spend his afternoon.
